Hey there,
Here is your dose of “The Weekly Picks”, a curated list of what I’m enjoying:
  1. 🏃 Running Social Platform: GetFlig.com
    1. The perfect way to discover group activities and meet athletes near you.
  1. 🧠 Sergiu Pasca’s TED Talk: How we’re reverse engineering the human brain in the lab
    1. Neuroscientist Sergiu P. Pasca has made it his life’s work to understand how the human brain builds itself – and what makes it susceptible to disease. In a mind-blowing talk laden with breakthrough science, he shows how his team figured out how to grow “organoids” and what they call brain “assembloids” – self-organizing clumps of neural tissue derived from stem cells that have shown the ability to form circuits – and explains how these miniature parts of the nervous s ystem are bringing us closer to demystifying the brain.
  1. ✍🏻 A word: Sprezzatura
    1. A word I found in the movie “Tuscany”. Described as “Graciousness without effort” it should be as great word that contains the meaning within itself.
